  3. Congrats on a very thought-provoking story! I read my Every Day Fiction email – as I always do, tucked up in bed with a mug of something warm – and had a little jolt of happiness when I saw that today's author is somebody who 'writes in Llanelli, UK'. I lived in Llanelli for a time, whilst I tried (and failed) to go to college there, so I thought I'd come and say 'hi'!

    1. Hi Robin. Thanks for dropping by.

      Yay! Llanelli!!!

It's having a hard time right now, all the shops have moved to the out of town shopping centre at Trostre. The High Street is full of just charity shops and cash converter/buy your gold shops.

They are building a new cinema and a Travelodge. Because that's supposed to revitalise the town. Lol.

  6. Hi Lydia. I'm interested in recording "Blood and Water" as an Every Day Fiction podcast, but first I wanted to check in with you and see if you had plans to record the story yourself.

If it's okay to go ahead, you can reach me at follyblaine AT gmail DOT com.

You can hear some of my other recordings at http://www.everydayfiction.com/features/podcast/ Thanks! - Folly

    1. Hi Folly.

That's wonderful. I really enjoyed hearing you read Milo's Captain Quasar story.

Recording it myself would be the last thing I'd ever do. I've got a terrible voice and I read aloud like a six year old stumbling over their words. Lol.

      I'll be in touch.
